[Accepted] I hear you might have an opening...
Name:
Peter
In-game name:
SavageJourney (aka: that Canadian guy)
Age:
37
Where are you and when can you play?
Toronto, Canada; EST. Evenings and weekends.
Note: The many obligations of life (School, Wife, Toddler son, Home Business, etc.) will limit how often I can play. But when I'm on, I'm as serious as you can be about a game. I might be busy, but I can't ignore PS2. Must... kill... VS & TR!
Share some things about yourself outside of video games:
Avid gamer in general (tabletop and PC) who is currently studying for a degree in industrial design. A bit of a smart-ass, but don't take it too seriously. I sure don't.
Teamspeak is required. Can you get on and at least listen to Teamspeak?
It's possible to be part of an Outfit and not use Teamspeak? Who knew.
Absolutely.
How did you hear about us and why do you want to join?
Old time PS1 member coming out of the woodwork. Running/Rolling/Flying with FS in PS1 was a wonderfully balanced experience. Structured and tactical, with just enough relaxed mixed in. Why wouldn't I want more of the same in PS2?
Do you prefer to play any certain roles in-game or are you comfortable jumping from role to role to fit the needs of the situation?
Happy to fill any role needed for the situation. I generally lean towards support roles, preferring Engineer or Medic. For pure combat, Hvy Assault. Infiltrator, Lt Assault, and MAX are not my cup of tea.
What can you bring to the table?
Discipline, tact, and a sense of humor. Solid driver and improving pilot (need an Outfit to polish the piloting skills) who knows which way to point their weapon; read I like to think I'm not a bad shot. Within reason, I'm happy to save and spend Certs for more Outfit friendly upgrades. I just needs a few toys to keep me happy along the way.
What do you expect out of Forgotten Soldiers members and officers?
PS is all about combined arms. That requires tactics, tact, and skill. All while not having a huge ego and taking it too seriously. Nobody needs drama; this is a game after all. If Forgotten Soldiers is anything like it was, I'm positive what's what I'll find.
In three sentences, brag about yourself:
I guess I'm modest, I'd rather brag with my actions. Get me in some armor and lets blow stuff up. Cover my back, and I've got yours.
